NOTE THAT A PARENTAL

Check out some mp3s of the many different projects recorded here at INSANE
SOUNDS. 'Please note that all mp3s are encoded at 16 bit/128kbs. This is the
best file size to audio quality settings. You should also note, contrary to
popular belief, mp3s are of a substantially lesser quality than the original
recordings. Mp3s are used solely for its compact file size. This makes attaching
to emails effortless and uploading to websites much quicker.
Feel free to contact us for studio demo CD filled with
snippets of 50+ songs so that you can listen in your own environment on your
sound system of choice!
An average song is about 3.5 to 4mb in size in mp3 format, where the original
16bit/44.1khz file is closer to 40mb. That's 10X larger. That's a lot of audio
resolution that is lost. To the average listener with his/her ipod with
run-of-the-mill headphones, however, a difference will probably go unnoticed.
Furthermore, we here at INSANE SOUNDS record at even a much higher resolution:
24bit/96khz. Unfortunately, for everyone, CDs at this point, are antiquated and
can only hold 16bit/44.1khz audio. Until a new format for high definition audio
is adopted, nothing will ever sound as crisp and vibrant as your original master
recordings. The upside is that, because your project is being recorded at such a
high resolution, when your final song is "dithered" down to CD quality, your
music will retain much more of its clarity than recording anywhere or anyway
else!
Now, on to the music!!
